Verification: how we check the list
Transparency on the verification process matters more than any specific feature. Without a clear protocol, the word 'verified' means nothing. Here is exactly how we check every Mistress that enters the Mistress Telegram directory, with no skipped steps.
Stage one, identity. A government-issued photo ID, checked against the profile photo and public persona for consistency. We do not run background checks beyond identity confirmation. We do not collect more data than necessary. The ID document is seen only by the verification team, kept encrypted, and used for nothing else.
Stage two, presence. A fresh selfie taken within the last 24 hours, holding a piece of paper with today's date handwritten and a random code we issued five minutes earlier in a verification message. This is the step that defeats reused leaked verification kits and recycled scammer photos. The code is unique per applicant, expires fast, and cannot be photoshopped after the fact without obvious tells.
Stage three, optional references. For Mistresses who have an existing client base, we ask for two client references (Telegram usernames we can contact discreetly). The references confirm that the person is who she claims to be and that the public persona is consistent with the private one. New Mistresses without an existing client base skip stage three and are listed with a 'new' tag so users know.
Ongoing checks. Every listed profile gets re-verified roughly every six months and on any signal of inconsistency (sudden style change, complaint from a user, photo reuse detected by our reverse-image scan). Inactive profiles (no posts in 60 days) are removed from the active section.
